Public Transportation

From Manhattan you can either take a bus from Port Authority or take the PATH train from several locations in the city. From Jersey City, you can also come by bus, take the PATH or ride the Light Rail.

From Manhattan by Train

The PATH runs along 6th Ave., stopping at 33rd St., 23rd, 14th, 9th, and Christopher, before entering Hoboken.
There is also a PATH station at World Trade Center, Trinity Street in lower Manhattan.
Make sure you get on the train marked "Hoboken." 
At Hoboken, the PATH station is at the intersection of River Rd. and Observer highway. Walk west (away from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad station) to Hudson St.
At Hudson, turn right to Newark (1 block), and continue west to Park Ave. Turn right on Park.
The Synagogue is on the right-hand side of Park, between 1st and 2nd streets.

From Manhattan by Bus

From the Port Authority Bus Station, take NJ Transit to Hoboken.
The platform changes depending on the time - an information booth is on the first floor and the 3rd floor.
The bus goes south on Washington St. Get off at the corner of 2nd St.
Walk west 3 blocks to Park Ave. Turn left.
The Synagogue is 3 of the way down the street, on the left-hand side.

From Jersey City

Take the PATH or the Light Rail to Hoboken from Exchange Place, Grove Street or Newport. Or the 87 bus from Journal Square, platform D3.
At Hoboken, the station for all three forms of transportation is at the intersection of River Rd. and Observer highway.
Walk west (away from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad station) to Hudson St.
At Hudson, turn right to Newark (1 block), and continue west to Park Ave.
Turn right on Park.
The Synagogue is on the right-hand side of Park, between 1st and 2nd streets.
