Yishai and Shayna Paquin live in Tzfat, in northern Israel, with their seven children (three of whom have special needs). They each grew up in the US and moved to Israel as adults. They will share with us about life in Tzfat since October 7, contending with rockets from Hezbollah and the turmoil in Israel following the deadliest attack against Jews since the conclusion of the Holocaust. Yishai Paquin is a US Navy veteran, a US Army Chaplaincy candidate, and a rabbinical student at the Academy for Jewish Religion. He also works as an adventure guide in Northern Israel, taking people climbing, rappelling, caving, and hiking. Shayna Paquin is a community leader, organizer and activist who has worked in many Jewish communal organizations in the United States and in Israel.
