Rabbi Zilbershtein (now a senior rabbinical student in New York, but she will be ordained as a rabbi this week) grew up in Russia and then relocated to Ukraine; her intention has always been to return to Ukraine following her rabbinic ordination to serve the Jewish community there. With numerous relatives and friends in Ukraine, she will give a first-hand update on the effect of the war on the Jewish community in Ukraine and give us some tangible ways to be supportive.
