Hoboken + Water: A Creative Conversation with Inheritance Theater Project
Saturday, April 19, 2025 • 21 Nisan 5785
1:00 PM - 2:00 PMWater has great significance in Jewish tradition, symbolizing life, renewal, connection, and more. In Hoboken, water also plays a major role in shaping the city—its history, growth, and challenges. How has water influenced your experience of Hoboken? How does it shape our community today? Join the Inheritance Theater Project (ITP) for a creative conversation with the United Synagogue of Hoboken. We’ll explore both personal experiences of living in Hoboken and how water has shaped life here, as well as reflecting on the deeper connections water holds in tradition and in our everyday lives. ITP bridges divides through collaborative playmaking around the country, and right now we’re in Hoboken focusing on strengthening relationships between siloed communities. We’ll share more about our creative project and how you can be part of the process. We’d love to see you and hear your stories! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
