Support

United Synagogue of Hoboken is the center of local Jewish spiritual and cultural life.  Our wide programming offers social opportunities for individuals at all stages of life and we are constantly expanding our events calendar with the goal of providing more opportunities for learning and socializing.  We also have a strong commitment to social action, which includes regular volunteer activity at the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, projects with Habitat for Humanity, an annual Mitzvah Day, and regular works of tikkun olam, repairing the world; including delivering Passover meals to the elderly, collecting food for Hoboken’s Emergency Food Pantry, communal response to humanitarian crises throughout the world, and advocacy for Israel and beleaguered Jewish communities around the world, as well as numerous other ways helping our friends and neighbors.

To be able to continue to offer our programs and events, maintain our building,  as well as support the local community; we rely on our members and friends to sponsor them and volunteer.  You can help us by volunteeringbecoming a member, or making a donation.  An easy way to support us is to use the AmazonSmile program, which donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to USH simply by shopping on Amazon and choosing USH as your charity.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated and makes a difference in our community.  Thank you!
