His award-winning short films have screened internationally, been acquired for broadcast, and aired on television. Notable titles include The Last Caravan, Pushkin’s Pants, The Pig, The Committee, Roma and His Two Daughters. His short film My Name Is Dania was shortlisted for the Israeli Academy Award. Lev created and starred in the Israeli television series Harusim (Channel 10) and has developed additional scripted series. Together with his wife, Alma Ben Zeev, he co-founded Simya Films, a production company that has produced numerous short films—both narrative and documentary. His feature film Milk & Honey received development and production funding, won first prize at the Haifa Film Festival’s International Feature Pitching event, and was selected for the prestigious Sam Spiegel International Film Lab. The project is currently in the financing stage.
